Giuntoli Conducts Individual Juventus Player Meetings as Motta Explores Tactical Shifts
According to recent reports, Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has begun conducting individual meetings with Bianconeri players. Meanwhile, head coach Thiago Motta is considering altering the team’s tactical setup for their upcoming match against Genoa.
Juventus is currently reeling from consecutive defeats to Atalanta and Fiorentina, during which they conceded seven goals without scoring. These poor results have seen the Turin club fall out of the top four in Serie A standings.
Giuntoli has already held two meetings with Motta following the latest loss to Fiorentina. The Juventus management has reportedly requested that Motta focus on improving defensive stability and enhancing communication with certain members of the squad.
In addition to player meetings, Giuntoli has advised Motta to maintain open dialogue with the team, though many players are currently away on international duty.
Motta is also working on new tactical approaches to help Juventus overcome their current crisis. He is reportedly considering switching to a three-man defense, a 4-3-3 formation, or a 4-3-1-2 system. These changes could provide more support for forward Randal Kolo Muani from other attacking players.
The potential formation shift might also see striker Dusan Vlahovic return to the starting lineup, pairing with Kolo Muani in attack for the Genoa match after the international break.
