Igor Tudor Begins Juventus Tenure with First Training Session
Igor Tudor has commenced his role as Juventus head coach, conducting his first training session following the departure of Thiago Motta. However, due to the ongoing international break, Tudor had limited player availability for this initial practice.
Juventus announced on Sunday that Motta had been dismissed and Tudor appointed as interim manager until the conclusion of the 2024-25 season. The transition occurred swiftly, with Motta and his staff clearing out their belongings from Continassa on Monday morning, followed by Tudor’s inaugural session that afternoon.
Focus of Tudor’s First Juventus Training
According to Juventus, Monday’s session began with warm-up exercises and strength conditioning. The focus then shifted to tactical drills, emphasizing possession play and build-up strategies. The practice concluded with an intrasquad scrimmage.
Available first-team players included Di Gregorio, Perin, Pinsoglio, Kalulu, Kelly, Costa, Savona, Locatelli, and Thuram.
Players on international duty: Gatti, Veiga, Weah, Rouhi, McKennie, Koopmeiners, Yildiz, N.Gonzalez, Conceicao, Mbangula, Adzic, Vlahovic, and Kolo Muani.
Unavailable due to injuries or other reasons: Bremer, Cabal, Cambiaso, Douglas Luiz, and Milik.
