Igor Tudor Takes Charge: First Training Session with Juventus
A new era has begun for Juventus as Igor Tudor takes the reins following Thiago Motta’s dismissal. The Croatian coach arrived at the club’s training center on Sunday evening and wasted no time getting to work, leading his first training session at Continassa on Monday.
This initial workout provided Tudor with an opportunity to familiarize himself with his new squad. According to the official report released by the club, the session unfolded as follows: “The team took to the field in the afternoon under Tudor’s guidance at the Training Center in Continassa. After an initial warm-up and rondo drill, the group focused on tactical exercises aimed at developing gameplay, before concluding the session with a practice match.”
However, Tudor had to manage without Douglas Luiz and Andrea Cambiaso, who were both engaged in individual training as they work towards recovery for the upcoming match against Genoa. It’s worth noting that Cristiano Giuntoli was present alongside Igor Tudor during the session, overseeing the new coach’s first day on the job.
As Juventus enters this new chapter under Tudor’s leadership, all eyes will be on how quickly the team can adapt to his methods and philosophy. The upcoming fixtures will provide the first real test of Tudor’s impact on the squad’s performance and tactics.
