Negotiations between Inter Milan and Club Brugge regarding Aleksandar Stankovic`s transfer are ongoing, with the primary disagreement centering on the buy-back clause details.
While the clubs have agreed on a €10 million transfer fee for the young Inter academy product, they remain divided on the specifics of the buy-back option.
Buy-back Clause Debate
Inter is pushing for a €25 million buy-back clause, while Club Brugge is seeking to set it at €30 million. Additionally, Inter wants the clause to remain valid until June 2027, whereas Club Brugge prefers a shorter timeframe.
Stankovic, who will turn 20 next month, is the son of former Inter star Dejan Stankovic. He spent the previous season on loan with FC Luzern in Switzerland and has attracted interest from German clubs VfB Stuttgart and VfL Wolfsburg.
As negotiations continue, both clubs are working to find a mutually beneficial agreement that satisfies their respective interests in the promising young player`s future.
