According to reports, Inter Milan are in the final stages of negotiations to acquire Ange-Yoan Bonny from Parma. The Nerazzurri have been tracking the young French striker even before appointing Cristian Chivu as their new head coach.
Chivu, who previously worked with Bonny at Parma, is eager to bring the 21-year-old talent to San Siro. However, Inter are unlikely to finalize the transfer today, as the June window for Club World Cup teams closes at 20:00 CET.
Parma Sets Price for Bonny
Discussions between Parma and Inter on Monday resulted in the Milan club taking pole position in the race for the promising forward. Reports suggest Parma value Bonny between €20-25 million.
Inter plan to complete the deal in July and have been promised first refusal if other clubs express interest. Napoli and Juventus had previously inquired about Bonny`s availability.
Inter`s Transfer Plans
In addition to pursuing Bonny, Inter have identified Valencia defender Christian Mosquera as their top defensive target for the upcoming transfer window.
The potential arrival of Bonny would bolster Inter`s attacking options as they look to build on their recent success under new management.
