According to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter Milan has informed Hakan Calhanoglu`s agent, Gordon Stipic, that he has until the end of July to find a new club for the Turkish international. If no transfer materializes by then, Calhanoglu will stay at San Siro for the 2025-26 season.
Inter is open to Calhanoglu`s departure this summer, provided an offer from an interested club is presented before July 31. This deadline was reportedly communicated to Stipic during a phone call on Tuesday.
With Inter`s pre-season training set to begin on July 26, the club is eager to have clarity on Calhanoglu`s situation by month`s end. If no suitable offer arrives, Inter is prepared to retain the midfielder, despite recent tensions with team captain Lautaro Martinez.
Rumors suggest that Galatasaray has offered Calhanoglu a contract worth €10 million per year. However, the player has not yet directly approached Inter`s management or submitted a formal transfer request through his agent.
Inter is reluctant to sell Calhanoglu for a low fee, with the club reportedly seeking at least €25-30 million for the transfer. As it stands, Calhanoglu`s future remains uncertain, with the clock ticking on potential moves before Inter`s imposed deadline.
