Inter Milan, one of Italy`s top football clubs, has commenced their 2025 Club World Cup campaign. The team departed from Malpensa Airport, heading to Los Angeles for the prestigious tournament.
Inter Milan and Juventus are the sole representatives from Serie A in this global competition.
The Nerazzurri, who finished as runners-up in both the 2024-25 Serie A and Champions League, are set to play their first match on Tuesday, June 17th at 18:00 local time (3:00 AM on June 18th in Italy). The game will take place at the iconic Rose Bowl Stadium against Mexican side Monterrey.
Other teams in Inter`s group include Urawa Red Diamonds from Japan and River Plate from Argentina.

“Our Club World Cup adventure has begun. The team has flown from Malpensa airport to Los Angeles, where we will play our first match in the competition.
Coach Chivu`s squad will train at the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA) campus to prepare for the opening game against Monterrey on Tuesday, June 17th at 18:00 local time.
On June 21st, we face Urawa Red Diamonds at Lumen Field in Seattle at 12:00 local time. Our final group match will be against River Plate on June 25th at 18:00 local time, also at Lumen Field in Seattle.”
