Speculation regarding Inter Milan’s potential acquisition of Nico Paz has grown stronger after Inter’s Vice President, Javier Zanetti, had dinner with Nico Paz’s father, Pablo, on Monday evening.
Nico Paz, a promising player from Como, has reportedly become Inter Milan’s primary transfer target for the upcoming summer window.
Pablo Paz, Nico’s father, shares a close relationship with Javier Zanetti, stemming from their time as teammates on the Argentinian national team during the 1998 World Cup.
Reports and images have circulated showing Zanetti and Pablo Paz dining at Botinero Restaurant in Milan, a restaurant owned by Zanetti himself.
Adding to a busy week, Zanetti also had a meeting with directors from Feyenoord on Tuesday, further fueling transfer talk when he responded with a smile to fan questions about the encounter.
Nico Paz, who joined Como from Real Madrid last summer, has demonstrated his potential with six goals and five assists this season.
It’s noted that Real Madrid retains a buy-back option for Nico Paz, which they can exercise in 2025 or 2026.
