Jude Bellingham May Be Suspended for 12 Matches for Insulting Referee

Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham is facing a lengthy suspension following his dismissal in the La Liga match against Osasuna (1:1) in the 24th round. It is reported that the reason for the dismissal was insulting the referee.

The incident occurred at the end of the first half when the 23-year-old Englishman received a straight red card after speaking with the referee.

According to tournament regulations, insulting or offensive language towards the referee or his assistants is punishable by a suspension ranging from 4 to 12 matches.

Bellingham stated after the game against Osasuna that he did not insult the referee and said nothing disrespectful to him.
