Juventus have officially confirmed that head coach Igor Tudor has signed a new contract keeping him at the club until June 2027, with an option to extend for an additional year through 2028.
The Croatian manager took charge of Juventus in late March and helped guide the team to Champions League qualification for next season. His initial contract was set to run through 2026, but the club has now extended his deal by an additional year.
In their official statement, Juventus praised Tudor`s passion, charisma and embodiment of the “Juventus spirit” since taking over the first team. They noted his successful end to last season, which began with a home win against Genoa and concluded with a crucial victory at Venezia on the final matchday to secure a top four finish.
Tudor expressed his excitement about continuing with Juventus, stating: “I`m thrilled to extend my journey with this historic club. We achieved our initial goals last season, but there is still much work to be done. I`m eager to lead the team into an important summer as we prepare for the Club World Cup and build towards even greater success in the coming years.”
The 45-year-old coach compiled a record of 5 wins, 3 draws and 1 loss in his 9 matches in charge to end last season. He will now have a full preseason to implement his tactical vision as Juventus aim to challenge for the Serie A title and make a deep run in the Champions League next year.
Tudor`s contract extension provides stability for Juventus as they look to return to the summit of Italian and European football after a period of transition. The club`s leadership clearly believe Tudor is the right man to lead that resurgence over the coming seasons.
