According to French sources, Juventus is reconsidering its approach to signing Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain. The Italian club is now contemplating a last-minute loan deal without a purchase option, following Dusan Vlahovic`s decision to remain with the team.
Initially, Juventus had nearly finalized terms for a loan agreement with an obligation to buy, totaling €60 million. However, recent developments have prompted a reassessment of their strategy, largely due to sporting director Damien Comolli`s statement that Vlahovic is “99 percent” likely to stay with Juventus.
Juventus Adjusts Transfer Plans
French publication Le Parisien suggests that Juventus has altered its plans and is no longer willing to make a substantial investment in a new forward. Aware that Kolo Muani`s future at PSG is uncertain, the Turin-based club hopes to secure a loan deal without any commitment to purchase, potentially delaying a significant transfer fee until next summer.
This approach could be a negotiation tactic to persuade PSG to lower their asking price, especially considering the French club had recently increased their valuation during ongoing talks.
As the transfer window nears its close, Juventus appears to be playing a strategic waiting game, hoping to strengthen their squad without committing to a large financial outlay in the immediate future.
