Juventus has become the latest Serie A club to show interest in Brighton and Hove Albion`s midfielder Matt O`Riley, following previous attention from Atalanta, Roma, and Napoli.
The Anglo-Danish player has been a frequent subject of transfer speculation in Italian football circles for the past couple of years, though a move to Serie A has yet to materialize.
Both Atalanta and Roma had been monitoring O`Riley for several months, with interest driven by coach Gian Piero Gasperini. Napoli had also made inquiries about the player.
Juventus Joins the Race for O`Riley
According to transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport Italia, Juventus is now closely monitoring O`Riley`s situation. While no formal offer has been made, the Bianconeri have added the 24-year-old to their list of potential targets.
However, any concrete bid from Juventus would likely depend on the club first selling Douglas Luiz.
O`Riley, who represents Denmark at the international level, began his career in Fulham`s youth academy before gaining experience at MK Dons and then flourishing at Celtic.
In August 2024, he completed a €29.5 million transfer to Brighton. During the previous season, O`Riley contributed two goals and three assists in 21 Premier League appearances for the club.
