The relationship between Juventus and Danilo had been deteriorating for some time, likely since Thiago Motta replaced Allegri as manager. Early signs emerged in August when the Brazilian was left out of the starting lineup in the first few league matches, with the young Savona preferred in his place. However, after weeks of deliberation, the player ultimately decided to return home, where he may conclude his career in the coming years.
