Juventus Loan Deal for Kolo Muani Hits Unexpected Obstacle
The anticipated loan transfer of Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain to Juventus has encountered an unforeseen challenge. Despite the 25-year-old French international having completed his medical examination and signed a contract with the Italian club, the move cannot be officially announced due to an administrative oversight.
PSG has realized they have reached their maximum allowance for players loaned out this season. With six players already on loan – including Gabriel Moscardo, Carlos Soler, Nordi Mukiele, Renato Sanches, Juan Bernat, and Cher Ndour – the Ligue 1 champions are unable to loan out Kolo Muani without first recalling one of these players.
This situation has created a temporary impasse for both clubs, preventing them from formalizing the straight loan agreement, which does not include an option to buy.
Prior to this development, Juventus head coach Thiago Motta had expressed enthusiasm about the impending arrival of Kolo Muani, stating, “Kolo Muani will be joining Juventus. We’re just waiting for the formal paperwork to be completed before he can play. I’m very pleased with this acquisition.”
The unexpected complication adds a new dimension to the transfer saga, leaving both parties to navigate this unforeseen hurdle in what was expected to be a straightforward loan move for the former Eintracht Frankfurt striker.
