Juventus Outraged by PSG’s Mishandling of Kolo Muani Loan Deal
Juventus FC is reportedly furious with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) over their handling of Randal Kolo Muani’s potential loan move to the Italian club. Despite Juventus manager Thiago Motta announcing the French striker’s arrival, the transfer hit a major snag due to PSG’s oversight of FIFA regulations.
It has come to light that PSG had already reached their limit of six players loaned abroad this season. The Parisian club had previously sent out Xavi Simons, Carlos Soler, Nordi Mukiele, Renato Sanches, Juan Bernat, and Cher Ndour on loan deals. This oversight prevents PSG from loaning out Kolo Muani, even though the player had already completed his medical and signed a contract with Juventus.
Reports suggest that Juventus was only recently informed of this blunder by PSG officials, who may have been unaware of the loan limit themselves. Juventus Sporting Director Cristiano Giuntoli is said to be livid, directing his anger towards Pasquale Sensibile, who oversees PSG’s loan deals. The Italian giants have allegedly labeled PSG’s conduct as “absolutely amateurish.”
While PSG claims they were aware of the rule, the chaotic atmosphere at their headquarters on Friday suggests otherwise. A potential solution being explored involves terminating Cher Ndour’s loan at Besiktas and selling him to an Italian club, which would free up a loan spot for Kolo Muani to join Juventus.
This incident has strained relations between the two clubs and highlighted the importance of thorough understanding and communication in international football transfers.
