Juventus Sets Minimum Price for Cambiaso Transfer to Manchester City

According to recent reports, Juventus has established a minimum asking price of €50 million for defender Andrea Cambiaso, amid interest from Manchester City in the January transfer window. While the Italian club is reluctant to part with the versatile full-back, they may be willing to negotiate if City meets their valuation.

Cambiaso, a 24-year-old Italy international, has become a key player for Juventus this season, making 25 appearances across all competitions and contributing two goals and two assists. His impressive performances have caught the eye of Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, who is looking to bolster his defensive options.

Despite recently signing Portuguese right-back Alberto Costa, Juventus still faces defensive challenges, particularly with center-back Gleison Bremer’s injury. This situation makes the club hesitant to sell Cambiaso, who has proven to be a valuable asset.

The player’s contract with Juventus runs until June 2029, giving the Italian giants a strong negotiating position. While they prefer to retain Cambiaso’s services, a substantial offer from Manchester City could potentially change their stance.

As the January transfer window progresses, it remains to be seen whether Manchester City will meet Juventus’ asking price or if Cambiaso will continue his development in Turin. The coming weeks will likely bring more clarity to this developing transfer story.
