Juventus squad update: Two key players set to return for PSV clash
Juventus manager Thiago Motta is expected to welcome back Manuel Locatelli and Lloyd Kelly to the starting lineup for Wednesday’s crucial Champions League playoff second leg against PSV Eindhoven. However, midfielder Douglas Luiz has not traveled with the squad to the Netherlands.
The Italian side hold a slim 2-1 advantage from the first leg in Turin last week. They enter the match in good form, having won their last four matches in all competitions – their longest winning streak since Motta took charge at the start of the season. This run includes an impressive 1-0 victory over Serie A champions Inter Milan on Sunday.
Locatelli and Kelly were both left out of the starting XI for the Inter match, but are in line to return against PSV according to reports in Italian media. Andrea Cambiaso could also feature after making a 30-minute substitute appearance on Sunday following an ankle injury.
Douglas Luiz’s absence is the only major blow for Juventus, who are still without long-term injured players Gleison Bremer, Juan Cabal and Arkadiusz Milik.
