Kazakhstani Striker Ankundinov Considers Move to Spanish Third Division Club
Danil Ankundinov, a 21-year-old Kazakhstani forward currently playing for Spanish club Mensajero, has shared insights about his potential career moves. The young striker, who currently competes in the fifth tier of Spanish football, has scored 3 goals in 15 matches this season.
“There’s an opportunity to move up to the third-strongest division in the Spanish championship,” Ankundinov revealed. “However, my current club is asking for a significant transfer fee, which has led to difficulties in negotiations. The third division club is willing to pay, but they’re offering a lower amount. Additionally, with only four months left on my contract, it’s likely that there won’t be any news for now.”
Ankundinov joined Mensajero as a free agent in August 2024, having previously played for Dnepr in Belarus. His current market value, according to Transfermarkt, is estimated at 100,000 euros.
The potential move to a higher division represents a significant opportunity for the young Kazakhstani player to advance his career in Spanish football. However, the transfer negotiations appear to be at an impasse due to financial considerations.
