Juventus forward Randal Kolo Muani has expressed his desire to remain with the Italian club, despite rumors of interest from Chelsea. The French international, currently on loan from Paris Saint-Germain, spoke to the press following Juventus` 4-1 victory over Wydad in the Club World Cup.
Kolo Muani stated, “I`m not aware of any interest from Chelsea. My focus is entirely on the Club World Cup at the moment. We`ll address any transfer matters after the tournament concludes. However, if the decision were mine alone, I would definitely stay here as I`m thoroughly enjoying my time at Juventus.”
The striker`s loan deal with Juventus is set to expire at the end of the Club World Cup, but the Serie A giants are keen to extend his stay for the 2025-26 season. Juventus has already secured their place in the Round of 16 and will face Manchester City in their final group stage match on Thursday.
Kolo Muani Praises Teammate Yildiz
Kolo Muani also expressed admiration for his young teammate Kenan Yildiz, who has impressed with three goals in his first two Club World Cup appearances. “It`s incredible playing alongside Yildiz,” Kolo Muani enthused. “His talent is evident in training, and he`s truly operating at an exceptional level. He has the potential to play for the world`s most prestigious clubs, and I hope he achieves great success here at Juventus.”
While Yildiz has also been linked with potential moves to Chelsea and Arsenal, the Turkish prodigy has maintained his commitment to Juventus. As for Kolo Muani, he has made an immediate impact in the tournament, scoring twice in Juventus` opening match against Al Ain.
With Juventus progressing well in the Club World Cup and Kolo Muani`s clear preference for staying in Turin, it appears that Chelsea may need to look elsewhere for attacking reinforcements.
