Le Havre Aims to Secure Loan Deal for Strasbourg’s Junior Mwanga

Le Havre is reportedly working on finalizing a loan agreement for Strasbourg’s Junior Mwanga, 21, until the season’s end. The young defender, formerly with Bordeaux, has been identified as a potential winter transfer target.

However, Le Havre faces a hurdle in their pursuit of Mwanga. The Ligue 1 club must first offload some players before they can register any new signings during the January transfer window. Le Havre is keen on bolstering both their defensive and midfield options, making Mwanga’s versatility an attractive asset.

Strasbourg’s Defensive Reshuffling

Mwanga’s potential departure is not an isolated case at Strasbourg. Another defender, 22-year-old Saïdou Sow from Guinea, is also expected to leave on loan. Strasbourg has reportedly reached an agreement with Nantes for Sow’s temporary transfer until the end of the current season.

These moves suggest a significant reshaping of Strasbourg’s defensive lineup as the club navigates through the winter transfer period.
