Levy Considers “Incredible” Terzić as Potential Spurs Manager
Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy is reportedly eyeing former Borussia Dortmund manager Edin Terzić as a potential replacement for current boss Ange Postecoglou. Despite transforming Spurs’ style of play, Postecoglou’s tenure may be nearing its end due to disappointing results and the team’s current 14th place position in the Premier League.
Terzić, who left Dortmund in June 2023, has a proven track record of developing young talent like Jude Bellingham and Erling Haaland. His ability to nurture prospects could be invaluable for Spurs’ emerging stars like Mikey Moore, Archie Gray, and recent signing Mathys Tel.
The 42-year-old German coach led Dortmund to German Cup success in 2021 and came close to winning both the Bundesliga and Champions League. His overall record at Dortmund (55 wins, 20 draws, 21 losses in 96 games) surpasses Postecoglou’s current Spurs statistics (39 wins, 11 draws, 30 losses in 80 games).
While appointing Terzić mid-season may raise eyebrows, his experience in developing young talent and track record of success make him an intriguing option for Tottenham as they look to climb back up the Premier League table and nurture their promising youth prospects.
