Libyan Midfielder Al-Musrati Ready for Monaco Debut Against PSG
Newly acquired Libyan international Moatasem Al-Musrati has declared himself fit and ready to make his debut for AS Monaco in their upcoming match against Paris Saint-Germain on Friday evening. The 28-year-old midfielder joined Monaco on loan from Besiktas just before the transfer deadline on Monday.
Monaco manager Adi Hütter confirmed Al-Musrati’s availability during a press conference, stating, “He is in good physical condition and is being considered for the PSG match.” Al-Musrati himself added, “If the coach decides, I’m prepared to play.”
However, Monaco will be without several key players for the trip to Parc des Princes, including Jordan Teze, Wilfried Singo, and Folarin Balogun. On a positive note, Edan Diop and George Ilenikhena have returned to first-team training, though their fitness levels for the PSG game remain uncertain.
Hütter also provided an update on Aleksandr Golovin, revealing that the player has been dealing with an ankle injury for the past two months. However, the manager shared some good news: “Golovin has reported that he’s no longer experiencing pain in his ankle. Credit goes to our medical team for their excellent work.”
The match against PSG presents a significant challenge for Monaco, and the potential debut of Al-Musrati could provide a boost to the team’s midfield as they face the French champions.
