Maghnes Akliouche Reflects on His Monaco Career Prospects
Maghnes Akliouche, the 23-year-old rising star at AS Monaco, is likely to attract significant attention from top clubs this summer. Despite extending his contract until 2028 last year, Monaco’s business model revolves around developing and selling talented academy graduates.
Monaco’s manager, Adi Hütter, has acknowledged the possibility of Akliouche leaving at the season’s end. He explained, “Our strategy involves nurturing young talents from our academy and eventually selling them. It’s an effective approach that I fully support.”
Monaco CEO Thiago Scuro has hinted at a high price tag for Akliouche, stating, “It’s natural for clubs to show interest in him, but as a Monaco player, he won’t be easy to acquire.”
When asked about his future, Akliouche remained focused on the present: “I’m concentrating on the upcoming matches. We’ll address any questions about my future when the season concludes.” He also mentioned that no discussions have taken place with club management regarding his long-term plans at Monaco.
As the transfer window approaches, all eyes will be on this talented young player and his next career move.
