Real Madrid is actively searching for a new midfielder to fill the void left by the departures of Toni Kroos and Luka Modric. While Rodri Hernandez remains a dream target, if he commits to staying at Manchester City, Los Blancos will explore other options to bolster their midfield.
Among the names considered are Adam Wharton and Kees Smit, but club officials are particularly keen on Chema Andres. The talented 20-year-old midfielder originally joined Stuttgart from Real Madrid last summer and has since delivered impressive performances in the Bundesliga.
As part of that transfer deal, Real Madrid wisely retained a €13 million buy-back clause, which they are now contemplating activating this summer. However, any delay in their decision could prove costly, as reports suggest Manchester United also intends to pursue the young Spaniard.
Beyond the primary contenders, Arsenal, Manchester City, and Newcastle United are also monitoring Chema. Manchester United is reportedly prepared to escalate its interest in the La Fabrica graduate. Nevertheless, Real Madrid’s existing buy-back option significantly complicates matters for Premier League giants, unless they are willing to negotiate directly with the Bernabéu hierarchy for a higher fee.
Chema: A Summer Transfer Target to Watch
Regardless of whether he returns to Real Madrid or moves to the Premier League, Chema is widely expected to be on the move this summer. Following an excellent debut season in the Bundesliga, he appears poised for the next phase of his promising career, with his future likely lying in either Spain or England.
