Manchester United Reduces Garnacho’s Transfer Fee After Meeting with Napoli
According to reports from Italy, Manchester United has decreased their asking price for Alejandro Garnacho to €65 million, bringing Napoli closer to securing a deal for the young Argentine star.
Garnacho has been a prime target for Napoli since they sold Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to Paris Saint-Germain. Earlier reports suggested that Garnacho’s representatives had already agreed to personal terms with Napoli, favoring them over other interested clubs like Chelsea.
Negotiations Progress Following Key Meeting
Italian media outlets report that after today’s meeting, Manchester United has lowered their initial demand from €75 million to €65 million, including potential add-ons and performance bonuses. This significant reduction brings the price much closer to Napoli’s offer of €50-55 million.
Napoli is optimistic about reaching a final agreement around €60 million with bonuses included. While further negotiations are still needed, today’s developments mark a crucial step forward in the transfer talks between the two clubs.
If the deal goes through, Garnacho could potentially earn €4 million per season on a contract running until June 2030. Both sides appear eager to complete the transfer, with Manchester United now showing more flexibility on the fee.
