Manchester United Set to Secure Dorgu Transfer with Enhanced Offer

According to reports, Manchester United is preparing to submit an improved offer of approximately €37 million for Patrick Dorgu today. Sources indicate that Lecce is prepared to accept this new bid.

The versatile Lecce full-back could be joining the Red Devils in the near future. Italian transfer expert Matteo Moretto reports that United is ready to increase their offer to the €36-37 million range for the Danish international.

Moretto suggests that today could be a crucial day in negotiations, as Lecce appears “ready to agree” to Manchester United’s forthcoming proposal. He reiterates that discussions between the two clubs are at an advanced stage, with Dorgu having already reached a full agreement with the Premier League side.

The 20-year-old talent has impressed this season, scoring three goals and providing one assist in 23 appearances across all competitions. Dorgu has demonstrated his versatility at Stadio Via del Mare, featuring as an attacking winger on both flanks as well as a left-back in a four-man defense.

Dorgu recently extended his contract with Lecce until 2029, but it seems his time in Italy may be coming to an end as Manchester United closes in on securing his services.
