Manchester United’s Casemiro Considering Roma Move in January Transfer Window
According to recent reports, Manchester United midfielder Casemiro is contemplating a potential move to AS Roma during the January transfer window. The Brazilian international is said to be open to joining the Italian side, particularly if Roma decides to sell their current midfielder Leandro Paredes.
Sources indicate that Casemiro would welcome a transfer to Roma, with the Serie A club potentially looking to strengthen their midfield options. The move could materialize if Roma successfully offloads Paredes, who has attracted interest from Argentine club Boca Juniors.
Manchester United appears willing to discuss a six-month loan deal for Casemiro, although their preference would be a permanent transfer. However, given the lack of substantial offers for the experienced midfielder, a loan arrangement seems more likely at this stage.
Roma has already been active in the transfer market this month, securing the services of versatile full-back Devyne Rensch from Ajax. The club is also reportedly in the market for a backup striker to support Artem Dovbyk, as Eldor Shomurodov is expected to join struggling Venezia.
As the transfer window progresses, it remains to be seen whether Casemiro will make the move to the Italian capital or continue his career at Old Trafford.
