Juventus legend Claudio Marchisio has shared his thoughts on the recent changes at the club, particularly focusing on the impact of new coach Igor Tudor on young talent Kenan Yildiz and the overall team dynamics.

Following the recent dismissal of Thiago Motta, Juventus appointed Igor Tudor as their new head coach. Tudor, who has signed a contract until the season’s end, faces the crucial task of securing a Champions League spot for the team.

Marchisio emphasized the importance of consistency alongside change: “While changes can be positive, consistency is key. It comes from daily work and weekly preparations. The coach has finally had some time with the team, which is crucial before the challenging match ahead.”

Looking forward to Juventus’ upcoming match against Roma, Marchisio stated, “I expect to see a Juventus team hungry for victory at the Olimpico. Every match is significant, and a top team shouldn’t settle for a draw. They need to approach the game with confidence and assertiveness.”

Regarding the coaching change, Marchisio noted, “Tudor’s experience, both in success and challenging times, could prove valuable in this transition period.”

The former midfielder also addressed the team’s recent struggles: “When relationships break down mid-season, it’s rarely one party’s fault. Everyone must share responsibility. In a club like Juventus, everyone is under constant scrutiny.”

Marchisio highlighted a significant change in Yildiz’s role under Tudor: “Under Motta, Yildiz had to cover the entire pitch, including defensive duties. While talented players need to contribute in both phases, having more freedom in attack can enhance their sharpness and goal-scoring abilities.”
