Milan is reportedly planning to interview candidates for the sporting director position, with Fabio Paratici, formerly of Juventus and Tottenham, among the top contenders. Paratici could be instrumental in Milan’s pursuit of Massimiliano Allegri as a replacement for Sergio Conceicao.
The Rossoneri are actively searching for a new sporting director and are also exploring options to replace Conceicao, whose departure at the end of the 2024-25 season seems increasingly likely.
Paratici and Allegri Top Milan’s Wishlist
Fabio Paratici and Igli Tare, ex-director at Lazio, are the leading candidates for the sporting director role at Milan.
However, reports suggest Milan is favouring an “Italian revolution,” potentially giving Paratici an edge. The club’s perceived lack of Italian figures in key positions has drawn criticism in Italy recently.

If Paratici is appointed as sporting director, speculation about Allegri’s arrival will likely intensify, given their established relationship at Juventus. Milan is aiming to bring in coaches capable of challenging for the Serie A title next season.
Allegri previously managed Milan from 2010 to 2014, which is seen as advantageous as Milan is reportedly looking for coaches with Serie A experience, ideally with familiarity with the Milanello training ground.
