Milan Secures Loan Deal for Fiorentina’s Sottil
AC Milan and Fiorentina have reached an agreement for the transfer of Riccardo Sottil. The deal involves a paid loan of €1 million with an option to buy set at approximately €10 million.
Sottil, born in 1999, arrives as a replacement for Noah Okafor, who departed for Napoli on a loan with a €2 million fee and a €23 million purchase option. This season, Sottil has made 25 appearances across Serie A, Conference League, and Coppa Italia, scoring 5 goals and providing 3 assists. His last notable contribution was a goal against Juventus that secured a 2-2 draw.
The transfer has been finalized in the last moments of the transfer window. Milan will pay €1 million for the loan, with a €10 million option to make the move permanent from Fiorentina. Sottil joins alongside Joao Felix, another significant deadline day signing, and Bondo from Monza.
Fiorentina officially announced on their website: “ACF Fiorentina announces the temporary transfer, with an option to buy, of the player Riccardo Sottil to AC Milan.”
