Milan Skriniar, the former Sampdoria and Inter defender, is reportedly eager to make a comeback to Serie A. Sources reveal that the player has been offered to Napoli, while Turkish clubs Fenerbahce and Galatasaray have also expressed interest.
Skriniar joined Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent in 2023, securing a lucrative contract worth nearly €9 million per season. However, after a brief six-month loan spell with Fenerbahce, the defender has returned to PSG but is not expected to remain in Paris for long.
Potential Move to Napoli
PSG appears willing to facilitate another loan move for Skriniar, even offering to cover a significant portion of his wages. The proposition to join Napoli is particularly intriguing, especially considering Antonio Conte`s previous experience working with Skriniar at Inter. Conte had also shown interest in signing the center-back during his tenure at Tottenham Hotspur.
While Napoli continues negotiations with Bologna for Sam Beukema, they may require additional defensive reinforcement if Amir Rrahmani departs. This situation could create an opportunity for Skriniar to fill the gap.
Turkish Interest Remains
Following his loan experience in Turkey, both Fenerbahce and Galatasaray have maintained their interest in the 30-year-old defender. These clubs could provide alternative options for Skriniar if a move to Serie A does not materialize.
With Skriniar`s contract at PSG extending until June 2028, the French club`s willingness to sanction another loan move suggests they are open to various possibilities for the player`s future.
