AC Milan`s rising star Francesco Camarda has officially sealed a loan move to fellow Serie A club Lecce, with the potential for a permanent transfer in the future.
Lecce Secure Camarda on Loan with Purchase Option
Lecce have confirmed the acquisition of Camarda on a one-year loan deal, which includes an option to make the transfer permanent. Milan have also retained a buy-back clause as part of the agreement.
The 17-year-old striker, who boasts an incredible record of 485 goals in just 89 matches for Milan`s youth teams, underwent his medical examination on Sunday before finalizing the move to Lecce on Monday.
After limited playing time in Serie A last season, totaling only 199 minutes, the young forward hopes to gain more consistent first-team experience with Lecce in the top flight.
While Lecce have the option to purchase Camarda outright at the end of the loan spell, Milan`s inclusion of a buy-back clause means they retain control over the player`s long-term future.
Camarda becomes Lecce`s second summer signing, following the earlier acquisition of Christ-Owen Kouassi from French Ligue 2 side Stade Lavallois.
