AC Milan is on the verge of finalizing a lucrative transfer deal, as midfielder Yacine Adli prepares to join Saudi Pro League side Al-Shabab. Despite the closure of the Serie A transfer window on September 1, Milan`s business dealings continue with this impending sale.
Reports indicate that Adli, who has been training with Milan Futuro at the start of the 2025-26 season, is not part of manager Massimiliano Allegri`s future plans. The club has given both Adli and his teammate Ismael Bennacer permission to seek new opportunities elsewhere.
Details of the Transfer
Al-Shabab is expected to pay Milan approximately €8 million for Adli`s services. This amount closely matches the sum Milan initially invested in acquiring Adli from Bordeaux in the summer of 2021, which included €8 million plus potential bonuses of up to €2 million.
The 25-year-old midfielder, who spent the previous season on loan at Fiorentina, is set to sign a three-year contract with Al-Shabab, reportedly worth around €6 million per season.
This transfer marks a significant move for Adli, who will be transitioning to the rapidly growing Saudi Pro League. For Milan, it represents a shrewd business decision, allowing them to recoup their initial investment while freeing up resources for potential future signings.
