It has become known that Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric will miss the Spanish Super Cup semi-final match against Mallorca. The club’s press service reported that the reason is a viral illness. The club statement said they will monitor the player’s condition.
The match between Real Madrid and Mallorca will take place today, January 9th, at 10:00 PM Moscow time at the King Abdullah Sports City stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
In the other semi-final, held on January 8th, Barcelona defeated Athletic Bilbao 2-0 and reached the Spanish Super Cup final. Goals were scored by Gavi and Lamine Yamal.
