OGC Nice has been encouraged by the return of Terem Moffi, 25, and Morgan Sanson, 30, to first-team training. Both players had been sidelined since the beginning of the season.
Moffi unfortunately sustained an ACL injury during pre-season, causing him to miss the entire season so far. Sanson also suffered a setback with an ankle injury that was initially misdiagnosed. While first thought to be a sprain, further examinations revealed a double fracture in his ankle.
After a lengthy recovery process, both players are now approaching their comebacks. Moffi and Sanson participated in a public training session at OGC Nice’s training ground on Wednesday. This positive news comes as Nice is seeing improvement in its injury situation, which at one point included 12 first-team players. Currently, Pablo Rosario is the only other player unavailable due to injury besides Moffi and Sanson who were previously out.
