Monaco’s Lineup Challenges for Reims Clash: Key Players Sidelined
AS Monaco is grappling with several absences in their attacking lineup as they prepare to face Stade de Reims. Notable players such as Maghnes Akliouche, George Ilenikhena, and Aleksandr Golovin are unavailable for selection.
Akliouche’s absence is not due to injury but rather fatigue, which also kept him out of the recent match against FC Nantes. Despite undergoing an MRI that showed no injuries, the young French talent is being rested ahead of the upcoming weekend fixture against Montpellier HSC. Consequently, he will miss Tuesday’s Coupe de France match against Reims.
Illness has sidelined both Golovin and Denis Zakaria, with the latter missing Monday’s training session. Christian Mawissa is another key player who will be absent for Monaco. However, there’s a possibility that new signing Mika Biereth, recently acquired from Sturm Graz, might make his debut for the team.
Probable Monaco Lineup Against Reims:
Philipp Köhn; Kassoum Ouattara, Thilo Kehrer, Wilfried Singo, Jordan Teze; Soungoutou Magassa, Lamine Camara; Eliesse Ben Seghir, Takumi Minamino, Saïmon Bouabré; Breel Embolo.
