Good news for OGC Nice fans! Morgan Sanson is finally available to play for the first time this season. He is expected to be in the squad for their upcoming match against Olympique Lyonnais on Sunday.
Nice coach Franck Haise confirmed Sanson’s return during a press conference, stating that the midfielder has been training at full capacity and is ready for selection. Sanson has been sidelined since the beginning of the season due to an ankle injury.
Initially, it was thought to be a simple ankle sprain. However, further medical examinations revealed a more serious double ankle fracture, which has kept him out for an extended period.
In other team news, Terem Moffi is also progressing in his recovery from an ACL injury sustained in pre-season. While this weekend’s game against Lyon might be too soon for him, Haise indicated that Moffi’s return is getting closer and is encouraging.
Tanguy Ndombélé will miss the Lyon match as he continues to manage a pubalgia issue that has affected him for a significant part of the season.
