Nair Tiknizyan Discusses Potential Move to Sevilla

Lokomotiv Moscow defender Nair Tiknizyan has spoken about the ongoing negotiations regarding his possible transfer to Sevilla. In a recent interview, Tiknizyan revealed that he is not directly involved in any transfer talks, leaving such matters to his agent, Sasha Klyuev.

“I’m aware that there was an offer last summer, but it was quite low and didn’t meet Lokomotiv’s expectations,” Tiknizyan stated. “Currently, there are discussions, but they may not lead to anything concrete. I see no point in dwelling on it or getting too caught up in the speculation.”

It’s worth noting that in the summer of 2024, Sevilla had submitted an official proposal to Lokomotiv for a free one-year loan of Tiknizyan with a potential subsequent purchase option. However, Lokomotiv declined to release one of their key players under those terms. In January 2025, Sevilla renewed their interest in the player, but negotiations did not progress to a more definitive stage.

Tiknizyan’s current contract with Lokomotiv extends until the end of the 2025/26 season. He has been with the club since August 2021 and has made significant contributions this season, appearing in 23 matches and recording 2 goals and 3 assists. According to Transfermarkt, the 25-year-old player is valued at 6 million euros.
