Napoli Finalizes €75M Osimhen Transfer to Galatasaray

Napoli and Galatasaray have reached a final agreement for the transfer of Nigerian international Victor Osimhen following his highly successful loan spell in Istanbul during the 2024-25 season.

Galatasaray has been eager to secure Osimhen on a permanent basis after his impressive performance last season, where he contributed 37 goals and 8 assists in 41 appearances across all competitions.

Despite Galatasaray agreeing to meet the full €75 million release clause in Osimhen`s contract earlier in July, negotiations have continued for several weeks. The clubs have been working out the payment structure and installments, with Napoli seeking official guarantees for the transfer fee.

Transfer Details

The deal has now been finalized, with Galatasaray set to pay the entire €75 million transfer fee by the end of 2026. The payment structure is as follows:

  • €40 million upfront payment to Napoli
  • Remaining €35 million to be paid by the end of 2026
  • Up to €5 million in potential bonuses
  • Napoli retains a 10% sell-on clause

Additionally, the agreement includes an `anti-Serie A clause` that prevents Osimhen from joining one of Napoli`s direct rivals for the next 24 months.

This transfer marks the end of Osimhen`s time with Napoli and solidifies his future with Galatasaray, where he made a significant impact during his loan spell. The Nigerian striker will look to continue his impressive form as he begins a new chapter in his career with the Turkish club.
