Following Dan Ndoye`s move to Nottingham Forest, Napoli is reportedly preparing a €35 million offer for RB Leipzig`s Antonio Nusa. The Italian club had previously set a limit of €35 million plus €5 million in add-ons for Ndoye but was unwilling to increase their bid further.
Nottingham Forest seized the opportunity by offering an improved deal of €40 million plus €3 million in bonuses and a percentage of future transfer fees. As a result, Ndoye is expected to undergo a medical examination with the English club within the next day.
Nusa: A Strong Alternative for Napoli
Napoli has now turned its attention to other potential signings, with names like Chelsea`s Raheem Sterling and Liverpool`s Federico Chiesa being considered. However, reports suggest that Antonio Nusa is the primary target, with Napoli ready to submit a €35 million proposal, including performance-related bonuses.
At just 20 years old, Nusa is a versatile player capable of operating on either side of a three-man attack. The Norwegian international has already earned 15 caps for his country, contributing five goals and seven assists at the senior level.
RB Leipzig acquired Nusa from Club Brugge only a year ago for €21 million. His value has since increased significantly following an impressive season where he scored five goals and provided eight assists in 35 competitive matches.
