Napoli Targets New Strikers Following Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia Departures
With the imminent departures of Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Napoli is set to receive a substantial €150 million windfall. The club’s management is already planning to reinvest these funds in new attacking talent, with Joshua Zirkzee and Georgiy Sudakov emerging as prime targets for the upcoming summer transfer window.
Napoli’s sporting director Giovanni Manna has hinted at significant player acquisitions in the near future. The club has already secured Noah Okafor as an initial replacement for Kvaratskhelia, but more reinforcements are expected.
Manchester United’s Joshua Zirkzee is high on Napoli’s wishlist, along with Shakhtar Donetsk’s promising talent Georgiy Sudakov. The latter has also attracted interest from top clubs like Barcelona and Manchester City.
Other potential targets for Napoli include Edon Zhegrova, Gabri Veiga, and Allan Saint-Maximin. The club aims to rebuild its attacking force following the loss of its two star players.
Kvaratskhelia’s move to Paris Saint-Germain for €75 million has already been confirmed, while Osimhen is expected to leave for a similar fee after his loan spell at Galatasaray concludes. Napoli had previously rejected a €65 million bid from the Turkish club for Osimhen during the winter transfer window.
As Napoli prepares for a new era without its dynamic duo, the focus now shifts to how effectively the club can reinvest the substantial transfer fees to maintain its competitive edge in Serie A and European competitions.
