Jose Mourinho praised Abraham during their time together at Roma. After a 3-0 victory over Monza in 2022, Mourinho described Abraham as “amazing,” highlighting his all-around game beyond just scoring goals.
Having scored eight goals in all competitions this season, primarily as a backup player at Milan, Abraham could be an ideal signing for Newcastle, potentially playing behind Isak next season.
This is a role that Wilson has struggled to consistently fill due to injuries, but it could be a role in which the former Chelsea striker could flourish at St James’ Park.
