According to reports from Italy, Nottingham Forest are preparing to submit their initial formal bid for AC Milan midfielder Yunus Musah. The United States international has been available for transfer throughout the summer, as he does not feature in new manager Max Allegri`s plans for the team.
Despite being on the market, no concrete deals have materialized for Musah so far. Napoli had previously engaged in advanced talks but saw their €25 million proposal rejected by Milan.
Premier League Interest in Musah Grows
Several Premier League clubs have shown interest in acquiring Musah`s services. Wolverhampton Wanderers, West Ham United, and Nottingham Forest have all expressed interest in recent weeks. However, they have been hesitant to meet Milan`s asking price of €30 million, which includes potential add-ons.
La Gazzetta dello Sport`s Milan correspondent, Luca Bianchin, now reports that Nottingham Forest are poised to submit a genuine offer for Musah. While it remains uncertain whether their bid will meet Milan`s valuation, it`s clear that the Premier League side has been closely monitoring Serie A talent this pre-season.
Nottingham Forest have already made attempts to sign other Serie A players, including bids for Juventus stars Douglas Luiz and Timothy Weah. They have also successfully acquired Dan Ndoye from Bologna, demonstrating their commitment to strengthening their squad with Italian league talent.
