OGC Nice Missing Crucial Players for PSG Clash
OGC Nice will face a challenging match against Paris Saint-Germain on Friday evening, as they’ll be without two key players: midfielder Tanguy Ndombélé and team captain Dante.
Dante was absent from Nice’s recent 2-1 victory over Angers SCO due to a knee injury sustained during a training session. Manager Franck Haise confirmed that the Brazilian defender has been unable to train this week and will not be available for the PSG match. Haise expressed cautious optimism about Dante’s recovery, stating, “If his rehabilitation progresses well, he may resume light jogging by Sunday.”
The club is hopeful that Dante will return to action before the season ends, potentially as soon as next week’s game against Stade de Reims. Meanwhile, Ndombélé’s absence is also confirmed. The former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder has been struggling with a persistent pubalgia issue for several months, limiting him to individual training sessions for much of 2025. Haise has previously expressed doubts about Ndombélé’s chances of playing again this season.
Despite these setbacks, OGC Nice remains focused on their upcoming challenge against the formidable PSG squad.
