Paratici in Advanced Talks to Join AC Milan
Fabio Paratici, the former Tottenham Hotspur executive, is reportedly in advanced negotiations to take on a sporting director role at AC Milan. Sources indicate that Paratici is increasingly likely to make the move to the Italian giants once his current ban from football activities expires.
Despite still being under contract with Tottenham, it appears both parties are working towards an agreement to terminate their relationship. This would pave the way for Paratici to join Milan’s front office ahead of the 2025-26 season.
Paratici was spotted in Milan last week, holding meetings at the Palazzo Parigi hotel – a location he frequently used for transfer discussions during his time as Juventus sporting director. This has fueled speculation that a deal with AC Milan is close to being finalized.
While Paratici is said to be the preferred candidate of Milan CEO Giorgio Furlani, other names like Tony D’Amico and Igli Tare have also been linked with the position. Tare has already met with club owner Gerry Cardinale and advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic, though D’Amico has yet to be formally contacted.
As negotiations continue, it appears increasingly likely that Paratici will make his return to Serie A with the Rossoneri once his ban concludes. His experience and connections could prove valuable as Milan look to strengthen their squad and challenge for domestic and European honors.
