Federico Pastorello, agent to Stefan de Vrij and Francesco Acerbi, has provided an update on the future of the Inter Milan defenders. Both players` contracts are set to expire in June, but Pastorello emphasized their happiness at the club.
In an interview with SportMediaset, Pastorello praised the duo`s dedication, describing them as “extraordinary players deeply committed to Inter.” He noted that while De Vrij had opportunities to leave last summer, he chose to stay with the Nerazzurri.
Regarding contract renewals, Pastorello confirmed that discussions would not take place until April. “Both players are at ease about the coming months,” he stated. “They would be happy to continue at Inter, but various factors will influence the decision.”
The agent also commented on Nikola Krstovic`s recent move to Atalanta, describing it as a transfer driven by mutual ambition. Krstovic joined La Dea to fill the void left by Mateo Retegui`s departure to Saudi Arabia.
“Krstovic has a strong mentality and clear goals,” Pastorello said. “After impressing at Lecce, he`s now with a top club that matches his aspirations. I believe he`ll have a long and successful career with Atalanta.”
