Pavlovic Confirms Milan Stay, Pellegrino Set for Huracan Loan
AC Milan defender Strahinja Pavlovic has put an end to speculation about his future by confirming his intention to remain with the Italian club. Despite recent reports linking him with a move to Turkish side Fenerbahce, Pavlovic made it clear he has no plans to leave Milan.
The Serbian international addressed the rumors while attending a basketball game at the Forum in Assago. When asked about a potential transfer, Pavlovic stated unequivocally, “Am I leaving? No, no, I am staying here at Milan.”
This declaration comes amidst a period of change for Milan under new coach Sergio Conceicao. Pavlovic, who had a strong start to his Serie A career but recently found himself on the bench, appears committed to fighting for his place in the team.
Meanwhile, Milan is set to make adjustments to their defensive lineup. Marco Pellegrino, a 22-year-old center-back, is expected to join Argentine club Huracan on loan until the end of the season. This move will cut short Pellegrino’s current loan spell with Independiente.
These developments indicate Milan’s strategy to refine their squad while maintaining key players like Pavlovic. The club continues to be a focal point of transfer activity as they look to strengthen their position in Serie A and European competitions.
