Pedullà: Lookman Received Poor Advice on Inter, Atalanta and Arsenal Situation

According to Italian football transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà, Ademola Lookman has been poorly advised regarding his current situation with Atalanta. The striker recently returned to Bergamo after weeks of unauthorized absence, during which he traveled to London and Portugal instead of attending pre-season training with his club.

The controversy began when Atalanta rejected a €45 million offer from Inter Milan for Lookman. The club insisted they had promised to sell him only to a non-Italian team for the right price this summer.

Pedullà expressed his disappointment with all parties involved in the situation. He noted that it`s difficult to understand how Atalanta and Inter completed a deal for Nicola Zalewski during this time without discussing Lookman.

The expert suggested that Lookman could still end up at Inter or potentially move abroad, mentioning past interest from Arsenal. However, he emphasized that Lookman`s behavior of staying in London and disagreeing with his club`s decisions is unprofessional and should have been resolved much sooner.

Pedullà contrasted Lookman`s actions with those of Ardon Jashari, who stayed with his club but refused to train when he wanted a move to Milan. He believes this approach is more appropriate for handling transfer disputes.

In conclusion, Pedullà warned that Lookman has received poor advice throughout this situation, leading to a scenario that reflects poorly on all involved parties.
