Petar Sucic Set to Join Inter Milan Next Season
Dinamo Zagreb’s talented young midfielder Petar Sucic has effectively confirmed his impending move to Inter Milan through social media activity. The transfer, reportedly worth €14 million with potential bonuses of €2.5 million, will see Sucic join the Italian giants for the 2025-26 season.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano broke the news of the deal on Sunday evening. Sucic himself appeared to validate the reports by commenting on Romano’s Instagram post with blue and black heart emojis – the colors of Inter Milan.
The 21-year-old Croatian is expected to undergo medical examinations with Inter this week. However, he will remain on loan at Dinamo Zagreb until the conclusion of the current season before officially joining Inter’s squad next year.
Sucic has been in impressive form this season, contributing three goals and two assists across 17 appearances in all competitions for Dinamo Zagreb. His signing represents another shrewd piece of business by Inter Milan as they continue to bolster their squad with young talent.
This transfer follows Inter’s recent loan acquisition of Polish international Nicola Zalewski from Roma. Zalewski made an immediate impact at the San Siro, providing an assist for Stefan de Vrij’s equalizer in the Milan derby on Sunday.
As Inter strengthen their squad, they have also been active in outgoing transfers. Tajon Buchanan has been loaned to Villarreal, while Tomas Palacios has joined Monza on a temporary basis.
