Pippo Inzaghi, fresh off leading Pisa to Serie A promotion, is reportedly considering an intriguing offer from Palermo for the upcoming 2025-26 season. This development comes as his brother, Simone Inzaghi, is also evaluating his future with Inter Milan.
Under Pippo Inzaghi`s guidance, Pisa secured the second spot in Serie B, finishing just behind Fabio Grosso`s Sassuolo. The team`s impressive campaign included 23 wins, 7 draws, and 8 losses, earning them a well-deserved promotion to Italy`s top flight.
Inzaghi Brothers at Career Crossroads
Despite his success with Pisa, Pippo Inzaghi appears open to new challenges. Palermo, still competing in Serie B, has shown strong interest in securing the services of the former AC Milan striker turned coach.
The 51-year-old Inzaghi began his managerial career with AC Milan in the 2014-15 season. Since then, he has gained valuable experience at various clubs including Venezia, Bologna, Benevento, Brescia, Reggina, and Salernitana, before taking the helm at Pisa last summer.
Palermo`s pursuit of Inzaghi comes after their own disappointment in the promotion race. The Sicilian club finished eighth in Serie B and saw their hopes of reaching Serie A dashed after a playoff defeat to Juve Stabia.
As both Inzaghi brothers contemplate their next moves, the Italian football landscape eagerly awaits their decisions, which could significantly impact the coaching scenarios in both Serie A and Serie B for the coming season.
